Baby mobile

I just had to share this adorable baby mobile I got on etsy. It matches adorably with his crib set, it's as if they were made to go together. I love it! 

37 weeks -- go stanford!

How far along: 37 weeks (March 29, 2014)

Baby is the size of a(n): stalk of Swiss chard, or more accurately, the size of a normal-smallish baby 

What is baby up to?:  
• getting fat, weighing in at over 6 lbs 

• trying to stretch out of mom's belly 

Weight gain: 28 lbs total (+2 from last week) 

Maternity clothes: Yes, and I really, really despise wearing pants right now. Even maternity pants are annoying.  

Stretch marks: nope (fingers crossed!) 

Belly button in or out: I think it's officially a flatty 

Sleep: Stocking up on it.    

Best moment this week: so many to choose from! We got to see baby at my 37 week ultrasound and learned that he is head down (yay!), but he's still high up and I'm not dilated at all.  We picked a pediatrician, put up the baby mobile, prepped his cloth diapers, hung his little airplanes, hung frames and set up the recliner. We're really starting to feel ready for this little guy to arrive! 

Worst moment this week: Woke up sick a couple of time this week.  I think my stomach is just getting super sensitive, which isn't uncommon in the end, but man, that's no fun. 

Miss anything:  that second trimester energy 

Movement: lots of legs and knees in my left side 

Cravings: none 

Symptoms: just starting to feel achiness in my hips, but nothing too bad. Also, the middle of the night peeing has commenced!  

Looking forward to: mom coming in 10 days! 

Only 3 more weeks!! 

36 weeks- the one where we only have a month left!

Getting bigger!!! 

35 weeks!

Happy St. Patrick's day from Baby Alexander and I! 

33 weeks -- the one where I'm in my first trial ever!

How far along: 33 weeks (March 1, 2014)

Baby is the size of a(n): pineapple

What is baby up to?:  
• getting fat

• shedding lanugo 

• swallowing amniotic fluid (gross!) 

Weight gain: 22 lbs total (+1 from last week) 

Maternity clothes: Yep, or my belly peeks out of tr bottom. AJ's sweatpants that I love are even starting to feel tight on this belly.    

Stretch marks: nope (fingers crossed!) 

Belly button in or out: in, but seriously trying to convert 

Sleep: Now that I can sleep, it's work that is stealing sleep from me.    

Best moment this week: auntie bean and gasper came visit! We had people over on Thursday and it was great to just hang out. Also, my OB felt around and said she thinks Baby D is head down. 

Worst moment this week: Work. So much work.  

Miss anything: being able to stay awake past 11pm  

Movement: lots of rolling around, this one move where he tickles my hip, and hiccups are up to 3 times a day now

Cravings: none 

Symptoms: None. Things are going pretty great.  

Looking forward to: my older brother, Mitch is going to be in the Bay Area for work for a couple of months and I'm so looking forward to having him here. AJ's sister is coming visit this weekend too. It's sibling weekend! I love looking forward to these kinds of things every weekend, they make the time go by quickly.
